Defibtech Lifeline VIEW AED Trainer
The Defibtech Lifeline VIEW AED Trainer is a specialized training tool designed for training participants to become prepared for sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) emergencies. Training class attendees will learn how to properly utilize an AED as part of a standard rescue protocol if someone experiences SCA.
The Defibtech Lifeline VIEW AED Trainer is designed with a red over-molding on all exterior surfaces, distinguishing it from the fully-functional Lifeline VIEW and Lifeline ECG. This ensures that the unit is clearly recognized as a training device and cannot be used for defibrillation on a real patient. In addition, the reusable training pads and rechargeable battery pack are packaged and labeled in red to indicate their use for training purposes only.
The Trainer will default to "AED Video Mode" upon powering up, displaying visual prompts during rescue scenarios. To switch to "AED ECG Mode," which displays a non-diagnostic heart rhythm, or "Manual Mode," which enables overriding of automatic features, use the appropriate setting.
The Defibtech Lifeline VIEW AED Trainer comes with a remote control that enables the instructor to easily manage training exercises and functions from afar. With the remote, up to six realistic training rescue scenarios can be selected.
